Details: We are seeking an experienced and visionary GCP Data Architect with 8+ years of expertise in designing and implementing robust, scalable data architectures on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of GCP services, including batch and real-time data processing, and a proven ability to lead end-to-end data solution designs. Responsibilities: Define and lead the implementation of data architecture strategies using GCP services to meet business and technical requirements. Architect and optimize scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub. Design solutions for large-scale batch processing and real-time streaming, leveraging tools like Dataproc for distributed data processing. Establish and enforce data governance, security frameworks, and best practices for data management. Conduct architectural reviews and performance tuning for GCP-based data solutions, ensuring cost-efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver innovative data solutions. Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and ensure adherence to architectural principles. Required Skills: Strong expertise in GCP services: Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub. Proficiency in designing and implementing data processing frameworks for ETL/ELT, batch, and real-time workloads. In-depth understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed data processing using tools like Dataproc and Spark. Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and modern data engineering practices. Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices on GCP.
